Job Summary

Join a decentralized network team as a (Senior) Systems Engineer specializing in Network and Security solutions. This role offers the unique flexibility of working 100% remotely or from one of the company's offices. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent planning and execution of complex IT projects, along with the conceptual design, maintenance, and continuous development of customer network infrastructures, focusing heavily on firewall, routing, and security solutions. You will be responsible for installing and configuring network components during onboarding projects and resolving 2nd and 3rd-level disturbances. Success requires relevant professional experience in network and firewall administration, deep expertise in network security concepts, and strong knowledge of vendor products such as Sophos, Fortinet, HPE/Aruba, or Cisco. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, communicative, and fluent in German with good English skills.
