Job Summary

This specialized role seeks a skilled Electronics and Electromechanical Technician to join the defense industry, focusing on the development, manufacturing, and maintenance of mobile deployment systems for the German Armed Forces. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the hands-on manufacturing, mounting, and integration of electronic devices and complex cable harnesses according to technical documentation. You will also be responsible for building test setups, performing electromechanical assembly, and executing precise crimping and soldering tasks for cable production. A key part of the job involves carrying out modifications and repairs on electronic and mechanical systems within specialized containers. Candidates must possess a completed technical education in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with professional experience in panel building and distribution box construction, along with familiarity with DGUV3 regulations and UPS installation. This position offers a secure, non-shift workplace with a 35-hour work week, 30 days of vacation, and excellent compensation based on the IG Metall tariff.
