Job Summary

This critical role involves strategically managing software licenses for hannIT, the strategic IT partner for the Hannover region's municipal administration. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring legal compliance (including GDPR and the AI Act), monitoring contract lifecycles, and optimizing license utilization across the organization. The License Manager will be responsible for implementing and operating Software Asset Management (SAM) tools, preparing detailed cost analyses and reports for executive management, and negotiating strategic IT license contracts and tenders. Key qualifications include a degree in Business Administration or a comparable field, experience utilizing SAM tools, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.
