Job Summary
This position calls for a dedicated Civil Engineer specializing in infrastructure structures to join the Department for Roads, Environment, and Transport Infrastructure in the city of LE. The core responsibilities involve the comprehensive lifecycle management of municipal engineering structures, such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and stairways. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating, planning, maintaining, and potentially renovating these structures. You will be responsible for conducting simple annual visual inspections and coordinating major structural inspections performed by external offices. Furthermore, the role requires managing all phases of inner-city road and civil engineering projects, including planning, tendering, construction supervision, invoicing, and final acceptance. Candidates must hold a successfully completed university degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification. While not mandatory, familiarity with current regulatory frameworks, procurement law, and standard CAD/GIS software is highly advantageous.
