Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Data Scientist to drive the creation of impactful data products and deliver actionable insights supporting Eurowings Digital and Group Operations. A core focus will be optimizing critical operational processes, including those related to aircraft, airport, and crew management, through identification, evaluation, and forecasting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Data Engineers to ensure end-to-end delivery of reliable data products and constantly monitor and optimize MVPs. Key requirements include 3-5 years of professional experience, proficiency in Python, complex SQL, and core data science libraries, alongside deep expertise in training and interpreting various machine learning models (regression, classification, time series). This position is attractive for professionals keen on applying MLOps practices and model explainability techniques (SHAP/LIME) within a dynamic aviation environment.
