Job Summary

This role involves managing and advancing the complex IT system environment for the Chamber of Agriculture of North Rhine-Westphalia in Münster. Key responsibilities include the installation, configuration, administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of the specialized laboratory software, lisa.lims (Laboratory Information and Management System). The System Administrator will also provide First and Second Level IT support, utilizing tools like Jira Service Management, and implement comprehensive IT security measures based on BSI IT Baseline Protection standards, including thorough system documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in IT, excellent Windows and networking skills, and specific experience with Microsoft Server environments, virtualization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and various database systems (Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres).
