This role as an IT Service Desk Specialist involves serving as the central point of contact for all IT-related challenges faced by employees within the City Administration of Herrenberg. Day-to-day duties include providing 1st Level Support via email, phone, remote assistance, or on-site visits, ensuring reliable technical support across all departments. You will be responsible for client-based fault analysis and resolution, troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows devices, and setting up new workstations and printers. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT Specialist qualification (or equivalent experience), solid knowledge of PC hardware/software, and extensive experience with Windows, MS Office, and mobile operating systems (iOS/Android).
