Job Summary

This role seeks an enthusiastic Lecturer to join IU International University of Applied Sciences, Germany's largest university, starting April 1, 2026, teaching 48 instructional units in the Dual Studies program. The Lecturer will be responsible for independently preparing and conducting scientifically sound, practice-oriented courses in areas such as Data Analysis, Statistical Foundations, Big Data, and Data Protection, based on the module handbook. Key responsibilities include creating and grading examinations aligned with module objectives and providing individualized support to dual students, helping them connect theoretical knowledge with practical application. The ideal candidate must hold a university degree in Business Informatics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field, possess practical professional experience in the subject area, and demonstrate C1 level German proficiency. This position offers significant creative freedom in teaching within small class sizes (max 40 students), a supportive, collaborative environment utilizing modern, digital, and AI-supported tools, and maximum flexibility in work organization, allowing the instructor to truly shape the future of education.
