Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Commissioning Engineer specializing in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Network Systems, working for an internationally active energy corporation. Your primary focus will be the technically sound, timely, and economical execution of commissioning HVDC plants globally, with a specific emphasis on data networks and network communication components. Day-to-day tasks involve commissioning, monitoring, and controlling TCP/IP network infrastructure, HMI concepts, and adapting them as needed. You will manage time synchronization and signal converters, acting as a crucial interface for all signal suppliers. The ideal candidate holds a degree or training in Electrical or Information Technology, possessing strong foundational knowledge in network administration (Switches, Routers), HMI principles, PC virtualization, and network security (TCP/IP, RADIUS). You will also support quality, risk, and claim management processes.
