Job Summary

This role involves specialized development, programming, and implementation of PLC software for complex manufacturing systems and robotic cells, focusing heavily on adhering to the Mercedes-Benz Integra Standard (Waves 5, 6, 7). The professional will be responsible for creating and adapting Human-Machine Interface (HMI) visualizations using tools like "Integra Designer Pro" and ensuring automation solutions delivered by external manufacturers comply with defined specifications. Key tasks include designing standardization concepts, developing new standard PLC program modules, and performing complex fault analysis, diagnosis, and resolution in automated production lines. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Informatics, Automation, or Electrical Engineering, significant professional experience in PLC programming (preferably in the automotive sector), and mandatory, deep knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz Integra Standard. This is a crucial, fixed-term position within the Engineering department, focusing on the new Battery Generation 5 project for the MMA series.
