Job Summary

This role is a critical opportunity to step into a leadership pipeline within one of Germany's largest and most beautiful theaters, the Deutsches SchauSpielHaus in Hamburg. The Deputy Team Leader will support the organization and coordination of the Building Services Engineering department, acting as the central contact point and stepping in for the Team Leader during absences, with the clear goal of eventually assuming the full Team Leader position. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the operational readiness of all building and safety systems (including sprinkler, fire alarm, heating, ventilation, and electrical systems), coordinating external service providers, managing maintenance plans, and assisting with personnel and material disposition. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, preferably in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing, and possess initial leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and fluent German proficiency to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic cultural environment.
