Job Summary

This critical full-time role, based in Halberstadt, focuses on ensuring maximum availability of automated logistics systems, including conveyor and storage units. The PLC Maintenance Technician is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair of these systems, specifically troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software faults using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal controls. Key responsibilities involve updating and optimizing PLC programs to boost performance, executing preventative and predictive maintenance routines, and meticulously documenting all service measures in the digital maintenance management system, adhering strictly to ISO 9001 and DGUV V3 standards. You will also assist in commissioning new automation components like sensors, actuators, and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
