Job Summary
The Bergische University Wuppertal is seeking a Research Assistant to join the Molecular Plant Research/Plant Biochemistry group. This role involves independently planning and executing research on transport processes, proteins, and sugar metabolism in conifer and deciduous trees. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and modifying molecular biological and biochemical methods, analyzing molecular genetic data, and publishing findings in scientific journals. A key aspect of the position is the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree. The role also includes teaching responsibilities in Botany, requiring a strong background in life sciences and excellent laboratory skills in biochemistry and molecular genetics.
