Job Summary
The Institute of Legal Medicine at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is seeking a Preparation Technician Assistant to support its vital work in forensic science. This role involves assisting with autopsies, including the reception and preparation of bodies, organ evisceration and preparation, fixation, and hygienic post-mortem care. You will also be responsible for the post-autopsy cleanup, instrument sterilization, and the preservation and management of organs, bodily fluids, and other evidence. A key part of the job includes creating complex macroscopic-anatomical preparations and reconstructing skeletal remains. Completed training as a Preparation Technician Assistant, Medical Section and Preparation Assistant, or comparable qualification
