Job Summary
This role involves supporting and coordinating IT projects within the regional branch, acting as the primary point of contact for 1st Level Support across all IT topics for multiple locations in the Southwest region. The administrator will be crucial in ensuring the continuous availability of the branch's IT infrastructure, handling client, peripheral, network component, and application installations. A key responsibility is managing the communication and collaboration with the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and their IT service provider (BWI), including creating and monitoring 2nd Level Support tickets. Candidates should possess a relevant IT vocational qualification and strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and communication technologies, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills to maintain critical defense systems.
Required Skills
Education
Completed IT vocational training or comparable qualification in the IT field
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system planning, implementation, and maintenance
- Professional experience providing 1st Level IT Support
- Experience coordinating with external IT service providers (2nd Level Support)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel for business trips is mandatory; Willingness to undergo a security clearance is generally required.
