Job Summary

This role is for a versatile and dedicated Laboratory Professional to join a family-run, independent human medical diagnostic laboratory in Hamburg. You will be responsible for a wide range of laboratory activities, combining both manual and automated techniques. Day-to-day tasks include automated sample processing using Olympus AU and flame photometers, determining trace elements and heavy metals via ICPMS, and sample preparation (liquid-liquid extraction, SPE) for analysis using HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and GC-MS/MS. Key responsibilities also involve performing quality controls, equipment maintenance, technical release of findings, and contributing to the introduction of new parameters and SOP creation. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an MTLA, MFA, BTA, CTA, Biological Laboratory Technician, or a relevant B.Sc. in Natural Sciences with an analytical focus. This position requires flexibility for shift work (early, middle, and late shifts) and a strong commitment to service-oriented, high-quality analytical work, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking a challenging and supportive environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as MTLA, MFA, BTA, CTA, Biological Laboratory Technician, or a comparable university degree (e.g., B.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, or other Natural Sciences with an analytical focus) with state recognition.
