This role is a crucial part of the IT Workplace Services Team, focusing on managing the complete lifecycle of the company's IT equipment, from initial deployment to final disposal. Daily responsibilities include the physical setup and dismantling of IT workstations, including PCs, monitors, and peripherals, as well as the unpacking, testing, and storage of new hardware. A key component of the role is maintaining accurate inventory through regular counts and updating IT stock records in internal systems. Furthermore, the specialist prepares new devices by performing necessary software installations, coordinates independent equipment handovers with colleagues, and ensures meticulous documentation and professional disposal of decommissioned assets.
