Job Summary
This role involves supporting the Operations Management team within a social enterprise that provides vocational and residential services for people with disabilities in Nuremberg. The Deputy Operations Manager will be responsible for strategic, cross-site production planning, process optimization, and operational control. Day-to-day tasks include preparing statistical production data, creating calculations, quotes, and post-calculations, and planning workstations and fixtures. A critical component is active customer relationship management and ensuring quality through the creation of work instructions and quality assurance measures. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) certification
Experience
- Completed advanced training as a Master Craftsman or Technician
- Professional experience, preferably in the metal or electrical sector
- Professional experience in quality management (advantageous)
- Experience with personnel responsibility and conducting staff appraisals
