Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive accounting and financial management within the Information Technology and Central Services department of the City of Hagen. The successful candidate will be instrumental in budget planning, preparing quarterly reports, and managing inventory processes using Kommsoft. A key responsibility includes supporting internal and external clients of the City of Hagen for IT service billing, including the creation of cost allocation rates. The position also covers all tax-related matters for the department and the financial coordination of funding, utilizing SAP and SAC reporting. This role requires a meticulous individual capable of independent work, with a strong understanding of financial processes and a collaborative spirit to contribute to process analysis and documentation.
Required Skills
Education
Civil service qualification for career group 2, first entry-level, for general administrative service OR completion of the Second Administrative Examination at a recognized administrative school or study institute. Alternatively, a successfully completed education as an administrative assistant or completion of the First Administrative Examination at a recognized administrative school or study institute (with specific conditions related to age or professional experience). Alternatively, a completed university degree in a business administration field.
Experience
- Professional experience in general administrative service or a comparable public sector role
- At least twenty years of professional experience with the City of Hagen, an employer covered by TVöD or a comparable collective agreement, or another public-law employer (if not meeting specific educational criteria)
