Job Summary
This role is perfect for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer focused on the automotive sector, specifically vehicle electrical systems (board net development). Day-to-day responsibilities include the conception and creation of wiring diagrams, meticulous documentation of cable harnesses, bills of materials, and connection overviews, and the selection and specification of electronic components based on technical and economic factors. You will be responsible for analyzing functional requirements, coordinating interfaces between control units, sensors, and actuators, and managing technical data flow between SAP and ECAD systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, possesses several years of professional experience in developing automotive electrical systems, and is proficient in ECAD tools (like EPLAN or Zuken E3) and SAP. Strong German and good English language skills are essential for technical coordination with development partners and suppliers, ensuring successful project execution in a team-oriented environment.

Completed Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) or certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the development of electrical systems
- Professional experience in the automotive environment (ideally)
- Experience in handling SAP systems
- Secure handling of ECAD tools (e.g., EPLAN, Zuken E³)
