Job Summary

The City of Cuxhaven is seeking a dedicated GIS Geodata Specialist to join its Urban Planning and Development department. This role is pivotal in advancing the city's Geographic Information Systems (GIS), involving the creation and management of plan and special cadastres, inter-departmental data coordination, and contributing to the city's GIS portal. The specialist will also conduct project-based geoinformation research and execution, lead the introduction and development of the city's Digital Twin, and manage the plan archive, including geodata acquisition, plausibility checks, and ensuring data privacy.
