Job Summary

This role is for a motivated Electrical Technician in Frankfurt am Main, focusing on the testing, wiring, and commissioning of switchgear and the inspection of stainless steel containers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed electrical and mechanical function tests based on customer-specific circuit diagrams, systematically identifying and resolving assembly, wiring, and component faults, and reliably documenting all test results and work steps. The technician will also be responsible for the professional wiring of systems, supervising test procedures, and performing high-voltage, partial discharge, and final inspections. A key task involves checking stainless steel containers for leaks using helium and filling them with SF6 gas. This position requires a completed education in electrical engineering or mechatronics, along with solid experience in building and connecting electrical systems, and the ability to work meticulously under time pressure.
