Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role involves supporting a globally leading pharmaceutical and crop protection corporation by executing critical laboratory and greenhouse experiments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and cleaning of incoming seed samples, followed by planning and conducting greenhouse trials focused on characterizing seed resistance to herbicides. Key day-to-day tasks include preparing samples for plant application, handling crop protection agents and test substances, and operating application systems after training. You will also ensure optimal plant growth conditions, visually evaluate experiments, and meticulously document results in the IT system to generate comprehensive reports. Ideal candidates must hold a relevant technical qualification (e.g., Biology/Chemistry Lab Technician or BTA), possess laboratory and automation experience, and demonstrate proficiency in handling plants and executing greenhouse trials.
