Job Summary

This Network Engineer role, based in Lemwerder, focuses on the comprehensive lifecycle management of network infrastructure, from initial planning and implementation to ongoing maintenance and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting requirements analysis, designing and implementing network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN), and selecting appropriate hardware components. A critical part of the job involves the configuration and maintenance of core network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, alongside continuous monitoring of network performance and security to detect anomalies and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications, possesses several years of professional experience as a Network Engineer, and demonstrates strong knowledge of fundamental network technologies (Routing, Switching).
