Job Summary
This role involves specialized administrative work focusing on service negotiations within the Social Services department of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district. The officer will be responsible for evaluating and assessing service offerings provided by external providers in the context of integration assistance for children and adults, primarily under SGB IX (Social Code Book IX) and SGB XII. Key daily tasks include conducting performance negotiations, preparing for and supporting arbitration procedures, negotiating and settling accounts for community centers, and handling fundamental legal matters related to service agreements and contractual regulations. The ideal candidate requires a background in public administration or a relevant social science degree, strong knowledge of German social law (SGB IX/XII), and excellent negotiation and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. This is a full-time, fixed-term position covering a sick leave, based in Parchim.
Required Skills
Education
Qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service (2nd career group, 1st entry level) OR Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt) OR Administrative Diploma OR comparable Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Social Management, Nursing Sciences, or Nursing Management
Experience
- Fundamental knowledge in Social Law, especially regarding performance negotiations under SGB IX and SGB XII
- Professional experience in interpreting laws, jurisprudence, and contractual regulations
- Experience in working collaboratively with quality and economic efficiency auditors
