Job Summary

This Senior Portfolio Manager role, based in Cologne, involves taking independent responsibility for monitoring equity and debt investments across Renewable Energy and other energy transition technologies throughout Europe. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing and managing projects, primarily wind and solar farms, but also hydropower and energy transition projects like heating production, grids, or storage. The manager will handle fund management for Renewable Energy and Energy Transition funds, acting as a key interface between investors, fund service providers, investment managers, and auditors. A core part of the job is steering external service providers for commercial and technical operations, identifying optimization opportunities, and conducting economic analyses. This position is ideal for professionals with at least five years of relevant experience in asset management, banking, or energy sectors, who possess strong analytical skills and fluency in both German and English, and are passionate about sustainable finance and the energy transition.
