The VDE, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Standardization Manager for the Home & Building sector in Offenbach am Main. This pivotal role involves independently driving and developing standardization topics related to electrical products and systems used in residential, office, and light commercial spaces, focusing on safety, energy efficiency, and usability, particularly within the context of Smart Home technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include representing VDE internally and externally, actively pursuing trends, developing visions, and managing complex technology projects with national, European, and international scope. The ideal candidate holds a technical university degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses strong communication and assertiveness skills, and has professional experience in this domain. Excellent German and English skills are essential for international collaboration and standardization efforts.
