Job Summary

This role is seeking an experienced Polymer Chemist to lead an R&D laboratory team focused on developing and optimizing water-based polyurethane and polyacrylate dispersions. The successful candidate will manage F&E (Research & Development) projects from the laboratory scale through pilot plant trials to full production implementation across various international sites. Key responsibilities include the technical and disciplinary leadership of the lab team, defining work content, ensuring safe laboratory procedures, and pioneering innovative polymerization methods to establish efficient manufacturing processes. Collaboration with application technology, production, engineering, and sales departments is crucial for effective project execution. This position requires a PhD in Polymer or Organic Chemistry, significant professional experience in the chemical industry, and proven leadership skills, offering a long-term perspective within a globally operating, family-owned company known for its sustainable, solvent-free binder systems.
