Job Summary

The Max Planck Research Group for 'Theory of Biological Fluids' is seeking an excellent and self-motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join their theoretical biophysics team in Göttingen. This role focuses on fundamental research into the spatial and temporal organization of soft matter in living organisms, including studying how droplets structure biological cells and interpreting experimental data through customized models. The successful candidate will possess a Doctoral degree in theoretical physics, applied mathematics, or a related field, coupled with strong quantitative skills in data analysis and programming. The position offers an international and interdisciplinary environment, supporting successful candidates in developing their own research ideas.
