Job Summary

This role is for an Onsite IT Support Specialist responsible for delivering direct hardware and software support at client locations across Saxony. Daily tasks involve the complete setup and configuration of end-user workstations, providing user instruction, and executing fundamental network activities such as patching and general troubleshooting. A core function is the analysis and resolution of technical disruptions affecting desktop systems, notebooks, printers, and various peripherals. The specialist will also manage hardware inventory, including assembly and disassembly, and ensure all activities are accurately documented within a ticket management system like Jira. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing IT service leader, leveraging solid experience in Windows client troubleshooting, Microsoft products, and ideally, knowledge of ITIL and asset management, supported by a company car for flexible travel within the service region.

Required Skills

Education

Completed IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT support
  • Solid knowledge in troubleshooting Windows clients, notebooks, printers, and standard hardware
  • Experience in handling current Microsoft products
  • Ideally, experience in client or asset management
  • Ideally, experience using ticket tools (e.g., Jira)
