Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Senior Developer and Technical Lead to join the TCO group at SAP, focusing on optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership for HANA Cloud products across various cloud providers. The role involves serving as the technical lead, planning and architecting large-scale data analysis frameworks leveraging data science, machine learning, and AI to drive TCO reduction and enhance price/performance. The ideal candidate must possess strong programming and architecture expertise in cloud environments, deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (especially Kubernetes), and proficiency with large-scale data analysis tools like SQL and Python. This position requires hands-on development experience, the ability to guide junior team members, and fluent English communication skills, with a mandatory requirement to work three days a week from the Berlin or Garching (Munich) office.
