Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing general accounting duties, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial operations within a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include preparing accounting entries related to receivables, payables, and banks, performing general ledger reconciliation, and actively participating in local VAT declarations and statutory accounts preparation. A crucial aspect of the role involves executing internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and local auditor requirements. The ideal candidate must hold a CFC/Professional Maturity diploma or equivalent and possess relevant professional experience, particularly with Swiss accounting requirements. This role demands a highly analytical, process-oriented approach, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting systems (ideally Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Fluency in French is mandatory, alongside effective communication skills in English (B2 level).
