Job Summary
The Landesanstalt für Personendosimetrie und Strahlenschutzausbildung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (LPS), based in Berlin, is seeking an engaged IT Specialist to support and manage its information technology functions within a small administrative team. This role is crucial for maintaining a stable, secure, and documented IT infrastructure, supporting approximately 30 internal users. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing independent First-Level Support (remote and on-site), managing support tickets, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network components. Key tasks involve installing and configuring Windows client systems within an Active Directory domain, managing user rights, and assisting with backup and recovery processes. The ideal candidate must have a completed IT qualification, at least two years of experience in First-Level Support, and excellent knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and network environments. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable documented IT qualification (e.g., retraining certificate)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in First-Level Support
- Practical experience applying basic Active Directory knowledge
- Experience in IT support within an administration or public service environment (Advantageous)

- Proven German language skills corresponding to the C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), if German is not the native language.
