Job Summary

This critical, full-time role involves the administration, planning, control, and monitoring of the process control and Redispatch systems for a leading municipal energy provider in Lübeck. The Grid Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing the visualization and control of new projects across gas, water, district heating, and electricity sectors, ensuring efficient and secure energy supply infrastructure. Key tasks include creating complex controls within the process control system, maintaining data models (especially for HEO-relevant functions like State Estimation and Load Flow Calculation), and coordinating all aspects of Redispatch 2.0 with upstream and downstream network operators, including network congestion management. Candidates must possess completed electro-technical training, advanced qualifications (such as Master Electrician or Technician in Electrical Engineering), several years of experience in an energy supply company (EVU), and deep knowledge of PSIprins and PSIsaso process control systems. This position offers a secure, system-relevant job with flexible hours and compensation according to the TV-V collective agreement.

Required Skills

Education

Completed electro-technical vocational training, followed by advanced training as a Master Electrician (Electrical Engineering focus) or Technician in Electrical Engineering and Process Control, or equivalent knowledge and skills.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in an energy supply company (EVU)
  • Experience in creating and maintaining data models in PSIprins
  • Experience in developing technical concepts and IT application development projects
  • Practical experience in information security management of energy supply control systems
  • Prior experience in process control system administration (desirable)
