Job Summary

This critical role involves the conception, design, and continuous development of complex enterprise network architectures. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing robust routing, switching, and security infrastructures, while also managing and operating WLAN, WAN, and LAN environments. A core focus of the position is analyzing and optimizing the existing network for performance, scalability, and security, alongside evaluating and selecting new network and security technologies. This requires a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, coupled with substantial professional experience—a minimum of five years—in corporate network infrastructure, ideally utilizing Cisco products. Excellent analytical skills, a structured approach to work, and strong documentation capabilities are essential, supported by fluency in German and good English skills, to effectively collaborate with IT security, system administration, and external service providers.
