Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Field Service Communications Technician to support a prominent client within the defense industry. The primary focus involves performing complex fault analysis, new installations, and crucial software updates on specialized ground-based air defense systems. Day-to-day duties also include supporting network maintenance, conducting detailed network analyses, coordinating external vendors during service deployments, and meticulously documenting all diagnostic and service activities. Candidates must hold a successfully completed vocational qualification in Electronics, Communications Technology, or High-Frequency Technology, coupled with a fundamental technical understanding of electronic systems and initial professional experience in EMC or high-frequency fields. A critical requirement for this permanent position is a high willingness to undertake significant national and international travel, exceeding 70%.
