Job Summary

This role is vital for ensuring the reliable operation of medium and high-voltage power networks within a major regional utility company. The specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of protective devices, including planning, commissioning, and parametrization according to defined specifications. Key daily activities involve independently planning and executing routine re-testing of protective relays, managing secondary technology components like voltage quality monitoring devices, and collaborating with SCADA/Control technology teams for network integration. The position requires active participation in new construction and maintenance projects, meticulous updating of secondary technical documentation and protection databases, and adherence to strict IT security protocols. This is a challenging position requiring deep technical knowledge in protection technology, MV/HV networks, and specific communication protocols (IEC61850), suitable for a reliable and structured professional ready to join an essential infrastructure provider.

Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience as a state-certified Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology Technician or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in Secondary Technology, particularly good knowledge of Protection Technology from reputable manufacturers
  • Knowledge of Medium and High Voltage networks
  • Experience and knowledge of professional system documentation
