Job Summary

This role involves taking full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and well-organized operation of a sequencing analysis laboratory in Göttingen, Germany, for a leading DNA/RNA synthesis and sequencing service provider. The successful candidate will manage daily laboratory operations, including the maintenance and upkeep of complex laboratory equipment, such as pipetting robots. A key part of the job is supporting the Quality Management department with audits and the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and occasionally assisting Customer Support. The position requires a background in life sciences (degree or equivalent qualification), proven experience in laboratory management or operations, and very strong technical understanding.
