Job Summary
This role seeks a highly motivated Scientific Field Sales Representative to drive growth and manage accounts in Western Germany. You will be responsible for both acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships across key life science sectors, including pharma, biotech, academia, diagnostics, and CROs. A core part of the job involves proactive networking with researchers, key accounts, and opinion leaders, while coordinating closely with internal support teams in Hamburg to ensure exceptional customer service. Candidates should possess a Life Sciences background (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry) and ideally, initial sales experience in the industry. Success requires strong communication, a goal-oriented mindset, and the ability to independently develop regional strategies for new product launches. The position offers significant personal freedom, flexible working hours, remote work options, and direct reporting to the management.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry); OR professional qualification as a Biological or Chemical Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA).
Experience
- Initial sales experience in the Life Science sector (Ideally)
- Professional experience in customer acquisition and maintenance
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies for a defined territory
- Practical experience utilizing CRM systems and business software applications

Additional
- Must reside in or relocate to a location providing easy access to scientific hubs in Western Germany, particularly North Rhine-Westphalia (e.g., Düsseldorf, Cologne, Ruhr area). Willingness to travel extensively within the sales territory. Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to self-structure work activities required.
