Job Summary

This is a key leadership role as Head of Technical Operations for IT-Verbund Stormarn, a full-service IT provider for several municipalities and districts. The successful candidate will lead four teams comprising 45 employees, driving the professional management of efficient, service-oriented, and secure IT operations. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the overall IT strategy, overseeing complex IT projects, managing IT investments, and ensuring the stable and economic operation of all hardware and software systems. A critical focus will be optimizing internal processes using modern IT Service Management methods and spearheading digital transformation initiatives related to public administration digitization (OZG). This position requires proven leadership experience, comprehensive IT Service Management knowledge, and a strong understanding of municipal administrative structures, offering a chance to shape the future IT landscape of a growing public service organization.
