Job Summary

This System Engineer role is centered on developing and implementing comprehensive signature concepts for surface vessels (boats and ships), fulfilling requirements set by public clients. Key responsibilities include gathering crucial information and defining threshold limits for acoustic, infrared, and electromagnetic signatures (Radar, Radio) in close collaboration with specialized departments. The engineer will utilize modern tools like Ansys Electronics Desktop to perform detailed analyses and simulations of Radar Cross Section (RCS), deriving informed assessments and ensuring compliance with build specifications. Day-to-day activities also involve maintaining signature-relevant data within ERP and CAD systems for transparency and supporting project managers with technical expertise when liaising with clients, classification societies, and authorities. The position requires presence aboard vessels during critical testing phases (FAT, HAT, SAT) as a technical contact, making it ideal for an experienced systems or naval engineer with a background in RCS analysis and a willingness to undergo a security clearance.
