Job Summary

This Systems Engineer role in Rostock offers the chance to contribute to groundbreaking projects, focusing on the development and design of technical equipment assemblies for maritime applications, such as living, working, and service areas, including doors and deck coverings. Day-to-day responsibilities involve creating basic design concepts, overseeing complex construction tasks from detailed design through to final documentation, and coordinating technical implementation with both internal and external stakeholders, including international suppliers. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Shipbuilding, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar relevant field, or has equivalent experience as a certified technician. Essential skills include proficiency in CAD systems (like CATIA), experience in construction and basic design, and the ability to work independently and structurally. This position requires fluent German and English skills (C1 level minimum) and offers an opportunity to professionally mentor junior design staff and represent the department on technical feasibility for projects.
