Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive management of sewer systems, focusing on inspection, evaluation, and rehabilitation projects. The successful candidate will conduct regular condition assessments of approximately 240 km of main pipelines, including domestic and commercial connections, according to Hessian EKVO standards. Key responsibilities include budget preparation, tendering, awarding, and coordinating EKVO investigations, processing TV inspection data in a sewer database, and overseeing rehabilitation projects up to 100,000 Euros. Additionally, the position requires independent management of indirect discharge control, providing consultation to citizens and clients on drainage applications, and participating in on-call duties. The ideal candidate is a responsible and engaged individual with a background in civil engineering, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to public service.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Civil Engineering Technician, ideally with a focus on civil engineering / sewer construction / urban water management. Desirable: Certified Sewer Rehabilitation Consultant.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or civil engineering technology, ideally with a focus on civil engineering, sewer construction, or urban water management
- Experience with sewer databases
- Experience in independent and goal-oriented work within a team structure
