Job Summary

This role involves joining the Center for Clinical Studies (ZKS) and the Institute for Biostatistics and Informatics in Medicine and Aging Research (IBIMA) at the University Medical Center Rostock to strengthen their Data Management and Data Science capabilities. The successful candidate will be a key part of a developing team responsible for clinical study data management, guiding the study process from data collection to the creation of analytical datasets. Day-to-day tasks include the responsible execution of data management for clinical and epidemiological studies, independently developing electronic case report forms (eCRF), programming and maintaining study databases, and ensuring data quality through query management and validation checks. This position requires a background in Medical Documentation, (Bio)Informatics, or Data Science, excellent database software knowledge, and strong German and English communication skills, offering the opportunity to shape working methods within a collaborative team.
