Job Summary

The Central Institute for Statutory Health Insurance in Germany (Zi) is seeking an Economist or Business Administrator to join their research team in Berlin, focusing primarily on ambulatory medicine and the analysis of nationwide data from statutory health insurance, including pharmaceutical prescriptions. The successful candidate will play a key role in the KWEX study, which investigates career choices and establishment decisions of physicians and psychotherapists. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing surveys, developing data collection instruments, preparing large datasets for analysis, and conducting differentiated quantitative and potentially qualitative analyses and reports. This role requires strong expertise in econometrics and statistics, professional experience in data analysis using standard statistical software (such as R or SPSS), and excellent German language skills (C1 level).
