Job Summary
This part-time Project Manager role involves leading the regional EFRE-funded "IndiKlimA" project, focused on developing standardized evaluation indicators and a cross-regional monitoring concept for municipal climate adaptation efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include stakeholder analysis, defining technical requirements, establishing cooperation structures, specifying inventory and impact analyses, and developing monitoring indicators based on the DPSIR framework. The role requires a degree in environmental science (or equivalent), deep experience in project control and planning, and familiarity with GIS and public relations. The successful candidate will actively participate in technical product development, facilitate knowledge transfer, and update climate adaptation concepts, contributing significantly to regional climate protection goals within the Mettmann district.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) with an environmental science focus (e.g., Environmental Sciences, Environmental Technology, Environmental Protection, Geography, Spatial/Urban Planning)
Experience
- Several years and in-depth experience in project control and planning
- Experience in renovation and modernization measures in existing buildings
- Foundational knowledge in the described areas of responsibility
- Experience or specialized knowledge in construction supervision or soil-related construction support
- Experience in public relations, moderation, and presentation
