Job Summary

The DB Energie GmbH, the energy manager for Germany's railway system, is seeking a Specialist in Network Control and IT Network Operations to join their team in Frankfurt am Main. This critical role involves ensuring the availability and secure operation of the network controller system, crucial for electrical operations, in compliance with current information security laws. Day-to-day responsibilities include system administration of the network controller and its hardware, managing operating systems, and developing existing operational software. The specialist will also be responsible for integrating renewable energy generation and grid-serving storage into the control process, actively participating in regulatory committee work, and implementing requirements from the Federal Network Agency.
