Job Summary

This role involves leading the functional safety aspects of fuel cell solutions for PowerGen applications, from initial development through to series introduction. The System Engineer will be responsible for leading a project team, conceptualizing, and implementing safety requirements derived from the overall system needs. Key responsibilities include defining the safety-relevant system architecture, specifying requirements for subsystems, and ensuring product documentation aligns with certification standards. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in developing safety systems, deep knowledge of fuel cells and hydrogen handling, and strong analytical skills. This position requires excellent command of both German and English, a structured work approach, and a high degree of initiative and responsibility, acting as the primary contact for safety-related issues across validation, quality assurance, and customer service.
