Job Summary

This challenging role involves actively shaping the energy future as a Systems Engineer focusing on auxiliary power systems for a regional utility grid operator. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the technical design and concept development of AC/DC auxiliary systems, including batteries, chargers, inverters, and emergency power units, guiding these concepts from initial idea through to implementation. You will lead innovative new construction, renewal, and maintenance projects within substations and MV switching stations, always prioritizing technical innovation and sustainable solutions. A key part of the role is ensuring system responsibility, coordinating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to guarantee seamless execution. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Renewable Energies, coupled with professional experience in substation technology and expert knowledge of auxiliary power systems.
