Job Summary
This role seeks an Environmental Technician to join a specialized, family-run engineering consultancy near Lake Constance, focusing on environmental protection, construction ground, and occupational safety for regional projects. The core responsibilities involve conducting hazardous substance exploration in existing buildings, including asbestos and mineral fibers, and performing subsequent sampling of building materials. A critical part of the job is the assessment of contaminated sites according to German federal soil protection regulations (BBodSchV), and the creation of comprehensive demolition and disposal concepts, requiring close coordination with public authorities and disposal companies. The technician will also provide expert construction supervision during demolition, earthwork, and remediation projects. Candidates must possess a relevant degree or vocational training in Environmental Technology, Civil Engineering, or Geosciences, coupled with knowledge of key German regulatory frameworks (e.g., TRGS 519, BBodSchV).
